Adrianne Ramsey
Arts Educator, Arts Writer
Adrianne Ramsey is an arts educator and writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Southern California. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of GIRLS Magazine, a portfolio of interviews with women artists and social activists. She is most recently a Field Trip Explainer at the Exploratorium, and has previously held positions at the California African-American Museum, Contemporary Jewish Museum, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Her current research interests include: Media Technologies in Contemporary Art (1960-present), Relational Art/Social Practice (1990-present), and African-American Art History.
