About:

Kathleen Brennan is a Bay Area native who has been involved in the San Francisco arts community for the past ten years. Kathleen received her BA in Art History from the University of Washington and her MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts. Her curatorial projects have been presented in San Francisco, York, Alabama and Tokyo, Japan. After finishing school she worked for a commercial gallery, but soon switched her focus to nonprofit fundraising and development. Kathleen worked at Intersection for the Arts as the artists resources intern. She was the development associate / gallery curator at Z Space for three years. At Z Space she helped create a visual arts program and curated a series of exhibitions focused on emerging Bay Area artists. She is currently program coordinator at the Bedford Gallery in Walnut Creek, Ca. She also works as a freelance grant writer.
